  • I try not to let it but I have to say it does to a degree. The majority of news channels are so biased these days that the make it impossible to draw your own conclusions. NBC, CBS, and Fox news tend to be less biased and try to show 2 sides of the story, but there is always that CNN effect.
  • Yes since the media Newspapers TV, the Internet are our eyes to the world we have to be affected. We just filter what we want and add our own slant.
  • It does. The media is the filter through which many of us see the world. They determine what's newsworthy and what isn't. Take the immigration hysteria. Nothing's changed radically over the last tewnty or so years. Yet -- lo and behold, during an election year -- suddenly all of American is up in arms about the issue, as though it just developed. Why do we know more about Lindsay Lohan than what has led up to the Kosovo developments in the last weeks? Media. I don't think anyone's immune to the influence of media to some extent. The best we can do is look for the news behind The News.
