"What do you think about fat people?" The purpose of this question, the interviewer later told me was to find out if I thought people should take responsibility for their personal appearance and health. It was still a bizzare question.

i filled out an app in calif when i was 18 and when i said i wasnt interested in the waitressing job, the lady at IHOP said they 'only hire guys' to bus tables - i just thought that was so odd - always have

I was once asked how far I live from the place of business...I told her a few miles . She responded we need someone who lives close by to lock the doors at night because the staff sometimes leaves the front doors unlocked...I asked then how do you find out...She said the police phone her and she would rather have them call a new person........
