Help answer this question below.
You will not be able to "remove" bleached areas from carpeting. All is not lost, however, because you have a few options available.
Depending on the area, you could just cover it with a new floor mat. If the carpet is black, then your job is simple, use a permanent marker and color it in.
If those two won't work for your situation, many auto parts stores carry automotve vinyl and carpet dyes in spray cans that you can use to "recolor" the bleach spots. The dye colors may not match exactly, but will look a lot better then an obvious bleach spot.
You can also contact a automtive interior shop in your area. They will likely have a line on better dye matches for your car, and will be able to provide a more professional repair.
Good suggestions.
What?!! This is not supposed to be an answer - it's a comment on GingerL's great answer, or should be, anyway. Gosh, I haven't even been drinking. Maybe that's the problem, lol. Seriously, this is the second time I've made a comment and watched it end up as an answer. What kind of glitchery is at work here?
And look! Anonymous, bless his/her heart, liked my "answer" well enough to give it a high rating. Boy, that's better than I've done for a while. Anon, I love you! But I can't accept. Feel free to look at some of my other answers, though and give those all the high marks you'd like. Check out more of GingerL's too. Ginger, you're a good writer! Answerbag, BTW, told me I'd given you too many positive ratings, so I had to stop. Anyway, I can't believe I'm about to do this, but honesty, or maybe a desire to avoid looking like an idiot, compels me to hand over the good rating to you, its true owner. If this was a large sum of money, you know, honesty might not seem so dang important.
Seriously, this is my second comment/answer mixup today. And how did Anonymous end up rating my "answer" instead of Ginger's?

Good suggestions! I think Anonymous's comment, and rating, was meant for this answer instead of mine, which wasn't an answer at all, but a comment on this answer. I let the staff know, and they'll take care of it shortly.

The spray can type of car carpet dye tends to work well on car carpet but can never make a match with it on house carpet, it must be because of the lighting in the house means that it shows more and must be perfect, i always use the carpet dyesticks on house carpet but have not tryed it in a car. carpetdyesticks has a video on you tube.
