oh yeah, all mammals (such as humans and german shephards for example) have the same mammary gland system. they are large now because she had to feed her babies, they will never go back to normal forever. but they will shink back to an acceptable size.
just llike a human female, after a child is born, they are somewhat "saggy" and will remain slightly saggy for the rest of her life. this is the same with all mammals, that includes your dog.

You're reading We just bought a German Shepherd who had pups 6 weeks ago. The owner told us her boobs would go back to normal in 6 weeks. it's only been 4 days. Her boobs hang 6.5 inches from her stomach. Is this normal? Will they shrink back to normal size again?
