The American League and Major League record is 264 home runs by Seattle in 1997.

The NL record is 249 by Houston in 2000.

thank you, man, those 97 mariners. a-rod, jr. edgar martinez in his prime, a good cora,(joey) david segui, an excellent power hitter in glen allen hill, the unit, fassero, etc. they shoulda won 130 games. man they were good, but my ? was in one game thx
