What do you think it would be like to live in a big family? I'm talking about a family of 5+ children.

There were 24 of us and it was control wildness. But it was fun. I plan on having somewhere around 12 myself.

I come from a family of 7. The older kids are going into their 30's and I'm 17 the youngest. My dad was stupid and neglectful like a little kid and my mom did all the house work and took care of the kids along with my dad. Divorced finally after 37 years, last year. Even though they fought through out my whole child hood It really didn't effect me except that I do poorly in school.

Although I'm sure it could be fun for the children, I can only seem to think about how chaotic it would be for the parents.

I know a guy who came from a family of nine kids. He eats his food faster than anyone I've ever seen in my life, LOL. Said when he was a kid, with food, it was first come, first serve. If you didn't eat fast, you didn't get much. And he shared a bedroom with two of his brothers.

2 of my friends were 1 out of 5 and the other 6. my dad was one of 5 also.
it's chaotic but usually i'm surprised how tight knit they were as opposed to a family of 2 or 3 kids.

If there's some strict parenting the family might work out fine. But there always will be chaos.
