first of all, I think it's extremely rude to ask something so personal. but, I have no reason to lie. I've never been one to sleep around...I have only been with someone that I loved. and the number is two and I'm not embarrassed to say it. why is it years ago, if you slept around with lots of people, you were a slut. but these days, if you haven't slept around...and haven't lost your virginity as a teenager, then there's something wrong with you?

The question is flawed, the phrase *slept with* has no meaning to me. I would prefer you say *fornicate with.* I would not even answer such a question except to correct your misuse of the verbiage needed to convey your intended meaning. Modern colloquialisms aside, I do not think we need to water down the meaning of fornication by using a benign phrase such as *sleeping with.* Snoring, drooling, or babbling incoherently have nothing whatever to do with human sexuality. Ordinarily I would not have been so forward as to make a correction of this kind, but this is one of my top pet peeves, and I couldn't help myself.
