Recently, I noticed a small grey dot on my dog's right eye. We haven't noticed any impairment in vision. She's about 5 years old, hasn't been ill or changed eating habits. What might this be?

I dont know if this will help you out but my aunt noticed a little white /grey dot on her boxers eye. we went to the doctor with the dog and the vet said it was a lack of cholestoral and that it doesnt effect the dog. It may bother you from it being there but he said not to worry about anything, but the negative affect maybe that it may get larger which he said happens rarely. Hope that helps.

Please don't ever guess as to what it might be - take your dog to a vet and find out. You wouldn't want to hear "had you brought her in earlier we could have saved her eye". No regrets taking her in right away and finding out what it is. You will know you did the right thing.
