I babysat my niece the other morning. I put on a kids channel and she watched for 2 hours. I fed her an omelet and corn for breakfast. She was well-behaved.

As a pre-teen and teenager I babysat a lot. I started when I was 9 or 10, and the kids were 4 & 5 and lived just up the road from us. Then, I got more jobs from there. By the time I was 12 & 13, I was babysitting all the time -- every weekend, and at least one or two nights during the week. I got jobs all summer, too, watching the kids all day, all summer, while the parents were at work!. Did that even through high school.

Plenty of times when I was young to earn extra money and also raised my granddaughter but didn't get paid for that.

I worked in Daycare for about a year. I was tecnically called a Child Care Worker, but I basically was just a babysitter.

I started when i was probably 9. My little sister was born when i was 11 so i watched her after she was about a year old also. After doing that for a couple years and I was old enough to actually work at a daycare i got a job doing that. And have worked at different daycares ever since. I am actually trying to start one of my own.

Yep, since I was 9 years old. The kids I watched were like 2 and 3. I loved it! I babysat as a teenager alot too for children of friends.
