  • I knew it were rainbow colours too, i got taught a little saying to help wi colours and order its, Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain :)
  • Not only are they the colors of the rainbow, but they are the colors of the chakras beginning at the base.
  • I have actually heard that some people are trying to take indigo out of the colors of the rainbow. This is the same exact unfair treatment pluto got from the other planets. The same treatment "y" gets from vowels and consonants alike. God people are stupid!!
  • They are the colors of a rainbow as taught in school. We were taught the acronym Roy G Biv to remember them.
  • They all have the vowel "E", "O" or both vowels in them.
  • That is the spectrum of light. http://www.wou.edu/las/physci/ch462/spectrum.jpg
  • They are the natural order of colors in the spectrum, whether rainbow or light. They are this way on the color wheel, too. It's the 3 primary colors with all the inbetween colors that are made by mixing the primaries on either side.
  • There's no "u" in colors.
  • Here in Vietnam, they want every public high school graduate to be speaking fluent AMERICAN English by the graduating class of 2010. Unfortunately, most of the English teachers are from Australia. The textbooks are from Cambridge and Oxford Universities. They tried to doctor up the text to reflect American spellings. They got rid of the lorries and fortnights. Suspenders are now used to hold up a man's trousers, and not a woman's stockings. And the trousers are now pants. But they still write dates: February 23rd, 2008 My English teachers in grades 4-12, my college professors (undergrad and postgrad) would be all over me for writing dates like that. The proper (American) way to write today's date is: February 23, 2008 Now most of the people who come to this page are Americans. They see the way English is written elsewhere and think you are wrong because we Americans don't do it that way. Americans, they aren't wrong. They just have different spellings than we do. Get over it. Now, uh, what was the question again?
