What is the most potent strain of marijuana?

potency is not solely determined by the strain, but by growing conditions. Proper lighting, nutrients, fertilizers, etc. All things being equal, however, reaching a plant's fullest potential almost always requires a hydroponic system. CO2 must be supplemented during light hours in the flowering stage. That being said, the most potent strain I've found is either Blueberry, Strawberry Cough, or OG Kush. Most kush strains are very potent, with very dense buds. Blueberry is almost unbeatable in any capacity.

There IS NO 'most potent' strain, but average THC in G13 is highest. Too many variables not the least of which is the grower- knowing EXACTLY WHEN to harvest is critical- typically when 50% of the 'hairs' are red/purple/pink and the other 50% are still white. That's a generalization. And also depends on the user- some people are VERY intolerant of the new age strains and don't like it at all, preferring a milder high. And whoever said THC is a 'white' substance is dead wrong. Pure THC resembles honey. The resin glands DO have a whitish cast to them but closer inspection reveals a clear oil inside the gland. The best answer I guess is pure G13.......so far.

wow the last post is truely dumb as with many! Big bud has a hi thc content lmfao, no not really widow is 25% and white rhino is 27% grown in greenhouse in perfect conditions. G 13 is in the 20's as well. however the university of mississippi does not grow it anymore; a 43-47 ratio huh id like to believe that but it doesnt even make sense. Cinderella 99 is 25+% and of course have to mention all of Nirvana seed companys white strains even though Nirvana sucks

thc content is really not affected much if at all by conditions as long as the plant can grow.
It all falls back on the gene pool just like people Sativa Sativa Sativa is the strongest

Hydroponic I guess, but it grows wild where I am so hydroponic isn't available, besides the natural stuff is free, most people here prefer "betel nut", but visitors who smoke think our natural Marijuana tastes the best,it has narrow leaves and purple coloured buds, if you pick the buds they are very sticky.

Well when it comes to most potent the white strain top all. THC is a white substance. Meaning for the plants buds to have a white color THC must be highly present. I think TRUE smokers could agree.

White Russian is the highest THC content. Anything from serious seeds co. usually white widow and ak-47 crossed strains seem to have highest THC%.

I smoked ak-47 once and was so energized and social that i couldn't believe it was actually cannabis.

Aqua P-14 is pretty nice stuff, Has a 43-47 Rat / THC but damn near impossible to find.

Where your common White Widow , White Rhino , Northern Lights , Big Bud is around 22-39. Not saying these are all that is out there but a few of the more common available.
