    i don't have a lap band, but i've actually noticed a reduction in my appetite since starting on lexapro, so it might actually be helpful. SSRIs generally do not increase appetite or cause weight gain (tricyclic antidepressants do, but lexapro is an SSRI) so it shouldn't cause a problem.
