My husband was still married to his ex wife when he married me. Can he take the home I bought after he married me?

Wow can you say bigomy and that is illegal for him thus you being the second wife therfore you are not or ever married to him ever especially when you bought the house.

You were not ever legally married - I wouldn't even call him my husband if I were you. You need to file for an annulment immediately! As for the home, most courts will see the "marital" home as community owned property and award each party 1/2 of the value of the home (even if the wife never worked and never contributed financially to the payment of any mortgage).

Since you were never married, then you probably will be looking at the deed to determine ownership. If he's not on the deed then he probably won't get anything.
