How can you know if somebody is hacking in Counter-strike?

    Spectate them. If they appear to be outrunning other people easily with their gun out, they might have speed hacks. If they are following people through walls or shooting people JUST as they come around a corner, they might be hacking. If they have perfect accuracy while running, they're hacking.

    First of all... No, if someone is deadly accurate. that doesn NOT mean they are hacking. I have played for 7+ years and I get banned in pubs all the time for that same reason. And no. following someone w/ your xhairs through a wall does NOT mean you are hacking. Again. I get banned for that all the time. What I am doing is aiming toward the direction of the sound and you can tell where they are going if you have good speakers/headphones.
    So... First off. you need to decide what hack you are looking for. Normally aimbot or walls. A new or intermediate player cannot accuratly detect a hack. Unless it is an obvious one
    Examples:
    Aimbot - Shaking of screen and hitting headshots that are not even close. (Not all screen shakes are aimbot)
    Speedhack - Zipping across the map at high speeds. (again, not always correct. watch and see if the persons ping is spiking, it might be a poor connection, usually wireless)
    Wallhack - (this one is hard but sometimes obvious) When a player is getting impossible shots through walls (usually fy_maps) and cannot hit shit when out in the open.
    These are just the basics. Most of the time when I'm trying to determine whether or not a person is cheating, I watch "how" they play. You can tell a skilled person from a "newbie." So it is experience in playing that gives it away. There are no tell tail signs. I make alot of accurate wallshots/spamspots. That is not a cheat.

    most likely, if you're playing on a non-steam server, someone is hacking. Its basically a sercurity issue with privately hosted servers. Getting really good shots while running, being really accurate may mean that they are hacking, but it could also just be a sign of skill (ie, if you look up videos of Fatality - best fps gamer currently, he'll look like he's hacking) I usually don't have much of a problem trying to find out if someone's a hacker since they're not very discreet about it. Ie, as soon as the round begins, they would start shooting at a wall and would start getting kills. But if you see a ring of bodies around a doorway, chances are there's a person using a Para (machine gun) with aimbot on on the other side.

    lol I love how people just say things like, frag:death ratio over-exceeding 13-1 or digits pertaining to skill.
    You can also peek walls and shoot someone knowing exactly where they are, communication is 25% sound is 25% and skills is 50%.

    Basically you're looking for someone who shakes in circles or something and as soon as they see an enemy, the crosshair is laying still on the enemy, and dead within the next second.

    You can tell if someone is hacking if they......... have auto headshots, they know where every body is(they shoot before they see someone), and if they lag alot. Someone is most likely hacking if there score to death ration exceeds 13 to 1. I hope this helps you.

    Check the league experience on the steam id, if they've got a decent amount of experience then they most likely don't hack. Although people do hack for fun, its fairly east to get vac proof cheats. Although you can never really be certain if somebody is hacking unless they are truly blatant. There are just some people who have been playing this game a LONG time. If somebody's steam id is 6 digits or less that means they've been playing a long time and are most likely just good, although you can never be certain.

    1. If they are killing people with impossible shots, they're obviously hacking
    2. If they run faster (other than knife) they are hacking
    3. Perfect headshots EVERY time
    4. Usually not the reason, but if the only kills in the game are by one person, either they're hacking or they're skilled (if 1 person is killing everyone, they're hacking (especially if there are more than 10 people on the other team)
    5. I don't know if theres a hack for no reload, but... whatever
    6. Health hack- if you shoot the guy a billion times and he doesn't die, either you're lagging or he's hacking (if you think someone is health hacking, try shooting him a couple of times with a magnum sniper, your aim has to be very good though.
