Female ejaculation is very uncommon. Hence, female orgasms do not have to be accompanied by ejaculation. However, some women do have the talent to ejaculate, and when they do, it is usually always accompanied by orgasm. So in answer to the question: Ejaculation is not necessary for orgasm, but orgasm is usually necessary for ejaculation.

My wife (girlfriend at the time,) squirted once (only once,) she couldnt believe it either, so she tasted her juices to confirm it wasnt pee- It wasnt, we were both rather impressed with that session of ours.

First off, some clarification is in order. They are not both necessary in either sex. Regarding women - I'm not female, but I've had many girlfriends who had great orgasms, but never ejaculated. I've had only a couple who did ejaculate during orgasm; however, neither of them ejaculated without orgasm. Regarding guys - ejaculation in guys is only necessary for procreation. Many guys experience great orgasms without ejaculating. Many boys experience intense 'dry' orgasms before puberty, and prior to their first ejaculation, many boys are multi-orgasmic. Older guys who have learned to separate orgasm from ejaculation can also experience multiple orgasms without ejaculating. Sometimes, a guy may ejaculate without experiencing an orgasm, however this is usually not much fun for most of us guys.
