could be you need more memory installed. with upgrades to programs it does not take long for the memory to get eaten up.

Hit CONTROL, ALT, and DELTE at the same time. The Windows Task Manager will come up. Go to the Processes tab. Sort everything by Mem Usage and take a look at those programs that have the highest number in that column. Whatever is slowing down your computer is probably one of those processes.

Get rid of AOL and norton, they're both bloatware and cause too many problems. Use AVG Free edition and Adaware for anti virus and anti spyware. Defrag your hard drive and use the pc decrapifier available here: http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/node/download
