It means that the mammogram results did not show enough detail to satisfy the tech & they have tried their best with their existing equipment and don't want to keep trying to get a better view.
They really have you over a barrel here. The threat of cancer and the option of early detection is hard to ignore. The vast majority of needle biopsies come back negative. I hope your needle biopsy went well.

You're reading I had my mammogram last week and they have called me back for extra pictures of one breast, a bilateral ultrasound and a fine needle biopsy. My evaluation report says 'Rt distortion' - can anyone tell me what that means?
