They observe the "sabbath" on the 7th day (sunset of the 6th until sundown on the 7th). This day was observed by the ancient canaanites and then Jews as the day of Saturn (7th of the celesial bodies known at the time). (aka "Saturday")

well, im a seventh day adventist but im only 12 years old so i'll try to explain clearly. We celebrate the the sabbath every saturday. It's not really that we celebrate it, but you know how ppl go 2 church on sunday well we beleive that the Bible say it's on saturday. Remember God rested on the seventh day not the first so you can come to the conclustion that it is saturday. Even in the the name SEVENTH DAY adventist. We don't celebrate the day, we celebrate God like every other church we worship HIM.

The Bible does not say that the Sabbath is the seventh day of the week, it says it is the seventh day, period. The force of the command is on the 6 days + 1 day rest pattern. Even within Israelite history, the Sabbath day was celebrated on different days of the week (Leviticus 23:27-32,39).
