When you buy spark plugs, they should already be gapped, no calibration needed. To be sure, ask the store your are purchasing from, they will know. Be sure to to blow out any debris from the spark plug hole area PRIOR to removing the spark plug. Any debris falling into your cylinder can cause catastrophic engine failure. Use an anti-seize compound on the threads of the new spark plugs when installing to avoid galling and ensure for easy removal next tune-up. Do not over torque the spark plugs, they really don't require much, just a good solid snug fit. Use a dielectric grease or something to that effect (again, ask the store your purchasing your plugs from about this) on the spark plug wire end so that it does not seize on to the spark plug itself, otherwise, your next spark plug change might require you to replace your plug wire set as well, and they are not cheap. Hope this helps. Good luck.
