freedom of speech!!!
-
Yes. You can even make fun of them and then again you could start believing my beliefs whatever they are.
-
Yes you do. I have the right to think you are a jerk if you do. :)
-
ok to disagree but not to ridicule.
-
If you want to spend your time and energy like that, go for it. Knock yourself out.
-
You have the right to free speech, so yeah. I'd prefer if you didn't, though.
-
Yes. You have the right. Is it morally alright to do so? Well, that depends on your view or morality, I suppose.
-
Sure, fire away!
-
Feel free , you have the right to do as you please , just do not expect respect for your rude behaviour. It is perfectly fine that you do not agree with my beliefs but to make fun of something that may be very important to another person is infantile spiteful and cruel.
-
Yes we have freedom of belief but, morally no. Just like I morally should no force my beliefs on you or anyone
-
It's not very nice to do, but yes you have the right...it's called Freedom of Speech.
-
You have the right to, but I would hope that you do so with a respectful tone.
-
Yes, you do. It is just not good manners.
-
You have the right to do whatever you want. I reserve the right to ignore you.
-
You have the intrinsic right to ridicule my beliefs, but I have the duty to kick you in the crotch for doing so.
-
You have the "right", according to our free speech laws. But, why would you want to? I don't feel a compulsion to ridicule other's beliefs or non-belief. I am happy to discuss them all, but, I never "argue" religion or faith. What's the point? As long as one does not infringe on the other?
-
You can ridicule anything you want. See how far it gets you. (Same answer on "What right do you have to make fun of my beliefs?" http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/590882 )
-
As long as have the right to go nah-nah-nah-nah-nah!! at ya!! 'Cos I don't care!! >P~ Then I'll tie you to a chair and tell you all about them until you think they're a really good idea.... :) And then, and only then, when you're begging for mercy and my beliefs are yours, I'll change my mind... :P
-
Yep. And I have the right to be angry at you for doing so.
-
Ridicule my beliefs? quick question... Do you even know what my beliefs are in the first place to ridicule em'? aye? lol Also, if you really feel the urge to do so and I cant talk you out of it, could we do that after midnight supper..cause im famished... while we're at it, could we also look into saying "No" altogether to this question? ;p
-
you sure do!
-
Sure, why not? Do as you wish, I don't have to engulge you or even read your answer, but you certainly have the right.
-
Of course, but doing so doesn't make you right.
-
Ridicule? I guess you have that right, but wouldn't criticism be more acceptible to the masses? Why would you want to ridicule anyone's beliefs? Do you like it when yours are ridiculed?
-
You always have the right to choose your behavior.
-
Sure but if you give it , you should be prepared to take my responses.

Only few people in my life were so daring and clever that they ridiculed my (and not only my) beliefs with success. I am very greatful to them. They made me think of myself. Thanks, Igor and Jaroslav. They are brilliant thinkers. I wish I had their capability, because this method of informal social control may turn out to be quite powerful and can help to weed out the bad things from our surroundings. Or at least gives the romantic feeling of satisfaction to the ridiculer that he made some attempt to make the world better. I admire Rowan Atkinson and Monty Pythons for ridiculing beliefs and behaviours. Non-believers in something are believers in something else. Ridiculing non-/beliefs is much better than threatening and violence. Here is a funny sketch which shows a mirror to the people who hate to be ridiculed for their beliefs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykN-00i7VVs&feature=related
