Baptists would also hold to the "Eternal Security" or "Once Saved-Always Saved" Doctrine where the Assemblies of God do not hold to this.

I find very few differences in doctrine and belief systems, but I always hear about disagreements between the two denominations especially. I don't understand why we can't look at the things we have in common rather than the few things we don't agree on.

We are all the Body of Christ.

    Hope this helps!

    God bless!

The Assembly of God is a Pentecostal group that beleives among other things that the evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues.(Acts 2:4)Also that the gifts of the Holy Spirit as told to us in 1Corinthians 12-14 are for the church today.
A small group of Baptist beleivers have accepted this belief but the majority of Baptists do not.
