A fan is about the easiest piece of equipment to replace in a PC. Make sure the replacement fits in the carriage and is compatible with the power source and you're OK.

Either a local computer shop or an online store like newegg.com would be best. But make sure you know what kind of fan you need. There are power supply fans (in which case you probably want to replace the whole power supply), case fans that are just fans mounted on the case that are very easy to replace, and there are CPU fans that cool your processor. Some systems have video card and memory fans too but its less likely you have one of those.

Take it to a best buy and ask the Geek Squad. They do that there also let them clean the whole thing for dust.
