We celebrate the anniversary of the day we met and the day we wed. Same day one year apart. No we didn't consciously pick this date, just too precious for either of us to have thought of. He happened to be off work and we could make the honeymoon a long weekend...and that was the deciding factor.

We only celebrate the anniversary of when we got married, more than that is too much like work.

But, I will admit that we got married on the 2nd anniverary of the day we met, we did not do this totally on purpose, we chose the month, then noticed that it could fall on that day, so decided what the heck.

I celebrate the anniversary of when we met...he never remembers... lol.
    We celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Although we've been married 25 years, we never got engaged. Marriage just seemed like the natural thing to do...
Should I make him ask me and buy me the diamond ring?
    hahahahahahahahahahahahah

well I can remember the date we first met which just happens to be the first day of my sophomore yr of high school, as for dating it just sort of happened along the way, engaged is kinda of a sore subject sometimes as he says he asked me I say he never really did, it was just always assumed we would but the only real date we celebrate is the day we got married of which we just started our 33rd yr in April and hope to have many more

We celebrate our wedding anniversary. If one of us happens to notice one of the other anniversaries passing we may mention it, but we don't celebrate it.

You usually celebrate whichever ones the wife wants to. The guy rarely remembers all those dates ; )

I think people should just celebrate being together and use anniversaries of special memories (started dating, marriage, first kiss, 1st intercourse, engagement, ect.) to remind them of how they got to where they are. I am not married but have been dating my boyfriend for almost 11 months now. We currently consider his birthday to be the day we started dating, so it wont be an issue to 'celebrate' when we started dating. I will always remeber that day, but will probably just celebrate my marriage anniversary.

We celebrated monthly anniversaries until our 1st year anniversary. Since then we've only celebrated the anniversary of our marriage.

Just when we got married. Neither of us have the least clue when we met (though we both remember the circumstances and event, we just don't know when it was closer than a month or three.) We never really "started dating" exactly... that was a pretty gradual process as friendship morphed into something more. And while we can figure out what date it was he proposed, the results of that were somewhat ambiguous too.

So we stick to our wedding anniversary. Which is coming up Saturday. 5 years! :-D

Only when we married. I can't remember the other stuff. It all happened within 10 weeks and doesn't matter now that I've bagged & tagged him.

I celebrate every date I can remember! And I always ask my husband 'Do you know what day it is?' And he panics for a minute, checks the date and then when he knows its not my birthday or our anniversary he will ask me! He still laughs that I know the date of our first kiss, first "together talk", first time we said "I Love You" etc.!

Married people should celebrate the anniversary of the first time they did it & look back on the days when they enjoyed sex.

We celebrate the day we got married. We each know the day we met, but it's not a day we celebrate. We do make a big deal out of our wedding anniversary, usually taking a week off for a vacation together.
