I would say 1500 dollars as it might give you lot of problems in the future.

134,000 miles on a 1995 Honda Accord LX is not very many miles considering how long these vehicles last. I have one with 214,000 miles on it and it is still running very well. I would say that in this case, it depends on what maintenance has or has not been done. Most specifically, the timing belt should have been replaced at 90,000 miles. If it has not yet been replaced, there is a very good chance it will break if it is not replaced in the near future. I would demand receipts to prove that it had been replaced because if it breaks it you will need a new engine. It's also an expensive job, typically costing between $500-$1000. When the timing belt is replaced, the water pump should have been replaced as well.

Also, how much of the other routine maintenance has been done to the vehicle? If it's been done according to the owners manual, the car is definitely worth $3800. If not, I wouldn't pay more than $3100. In addition you should deduct something from this $3100 for things such as worn tires and the timing belt job mentioned above.

    That is a bit high.

The Kelly Blue Book value if you are buying this from a private party and it is in 'good" condition is
    = $3,175
I hope that this 13 year old car is garage kept?

I think that they are a little high.

Try to get them down closer to $3,000
