What 3 things do you like or dislike about your mother? Genuine answers only please!

I like:

Her wisdom. A wiser woman never lived.
Her love. Endless and boundless.
Her willingness to help. Never say no to family.

I dislike:

The fact that she is dead. I miss you, Mom.
The fact that she spent her last years in pain.
The fact that, due to stupidity and stubbornness, we, her children, had to say goodbye unexpectedly, and make the decision to let her die.

I loved my mother's

** humor
** resiliency and toughness
** work ethic and good example
** love for her children

I dislike

** that I don't have her anymore. She died in 1992 at age 85
** that she lost my father when she was only 52 when he died suddenly and was a widow longer than she was a wife
** that people hurt her feelings sometimes. She could be hurt easily, and she didn't assert herself often.

like: shes a good laugh
shes a 'cool' mum
she looks good (and young)

Dislikes: her stubboness
shes unable to show any feelings
unable to show any affection
she ignores any problems andhopes they will dissappear
shes to wrapped up in her own world to notice any1 else

Like:

She has an awesome sense of humor,
She has never passed judgment on me or anyone else for that matter.
She's the picture of a strong woman.

Dislike:

She always puts herself last.
She worries way to much about me.
That she did both of these things to hide the fact that she had cancer again from me--she didn't want to upset me.

I love my mother fearlessness, her selflessness and her honesty. I appreciate her now so much more than I did when I was younger.

The three things I dislike about my Mother:
The snide remarks she always said to me.
The criticism about my jobs and the way I look.
The way she always praised my brother but never gave me any kindness in return.
That should just about do it.

Like:
she is brilliant and thinks of options that would work and change our lives if put in effect;
she listens and understands my heart;
she respects me as an adult and Mother;
she raised nine children as loving, brilliant adults;
she is proud of me.

Dislike:
she is semi-invalid and has been for years;
she smokes and has since she was 13;
she is old. +4

Likes: 1) her assertiveness 2) her strength 3) she always makes me feel really special.

Dislikes: 1) She can be a little too nice and let everyone walk all over her and complain about it later. It can get rather annoying. 2) She smokes. 3) She is not a techie person, sending an email can take an hour. Ugh.

1) Mum ALWAYS rings when I am in middle of something lol
2) Mum Always tries to matchmake for me, It kinda gets embarasing, I can choose my own partners and my choice is soooooooooooooooo far removed from my mums
3) Mum loves me unconditionaly.......oh the burden lol

Cold, simpleton and just plain nasty. The good things...well she can knit well.
