My ipod nano will not turn on and it is not recognized by my computer. If the battery were dead, wouldn't my computer continue to recognize it? My itunes software does recognize my other ipod, a shuffle. I just updated the itunes so

if the battery were dead, it would give you a battery error. Try a different sync cable first, if that doesn't work, your logic board is bad. -
