My g/f is 17 and she is graduating High School this year, she won't turn 18 until November, her Mom wants to keep her at home until she is 18, does this make sence to anyone else?

Well, whether it makes sense or not, the fact is, until your girlfriend turns 18, her parents have the say.

Well, it's not your place to decide. And when you are older and have a daughter of your own wouldn't you be protective of her too? You need to think less about what you want and more about what is really important. The two of you are still very young.......you will have many more opportunities to be with each other in the future. Don;t be stressed about it. You'll get booty again soon...LOL! That's the only reason I can think of-of why your in such a hurry to have her with you...LOL! Things will work out much better if you allow her parents to be just that, her parents, like they should be. Life goes by much too quickly and all too soon you two will looking back on this and realize how silly it can be. Be a good role model. Wait and try to be patient. Things will be better soon. It doesn't much matter if it makes sense because she is a minor until her 18th birthday. Try not to get in the middle of it or you may lose the girlfriend. You need to support the mother in this. you don't really want to be with a girl that doesn't respect her parents. Note: That doesn't mean she has to agree with her parents, just respect them.

Makes perfect sense to me. Her parents are responsible for her until her 18th birthday. Maybe they're afraid she'll run wild and they'll end up paying the price for it, or maybe they just want to keep her under their wings for as long as possible. Either way, it's their say and there's nothing you can (or should) do about it.
