I was at Steamboat in Colorado and they got 24 inches overnight. Visibility was an issue because the entire day was so stormy and cloudy. Not all powder days are like that though. I've skied in waist deep powder on sunny days. That's the sickest and then you drop a fatty cliff and stick it then hit the next pillow line and drop the next cliff. Sick

    Phil wonders where everyone is???

Ok Wickles, here's a good one for ya,

While up at Tahoe and everyone else was going down the sloaps I hid in some very deep powder near the ski lodge and one of the travel mates came walking by and stopped to look at something that was arms-reach. I put out my hand and grabbed her ankle for a moment and let go and pulled back, she screamed and shrilled something from the snow had grabbed her and everyone laughed her off. I did it again only to pull and take her in with me where I had a cave hidden agenst the wall and she was totally giggly that it was me the first time.

I think you mean "powder" and then there is the type of powder.

Answer #1; While driving to Lake Tahoe in the winter a storm as coming in and ended up having snow from the preveious storm blow across the road and there were times I could only see the center line while driving 10 mph.

Answer #2; The wife had just gotton out of the shower and I needed to enter the bathroom and the window was open and a wind gust caused a Powder storm from the open container of baby powder to fill the room!

Answer #3; Then there was the time I was purchasing some soil on a hot and dry summer day and a wind churned up all the compost and could not see the truck parked only 50 feet from me.
