  • See my answer to your question at http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/2224134 I didn't know it was 'against the rules' to post in another language. I am surprised the AB site could accept another language, like Japanese and such. Anyway, I spend time coming and going on AB because there is often an URL on here that someone posted and I want to check them out. So that's all I did when I saw that post in Spanish; just went to a translating webpage. AB *IS* for learning (originally), I read. I'm glad I know it is not acceptable to post in another language now; I will be sure and not do that. Would y'all please go to http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/589156 and tell me why *IT* was DR'd? I thought it was a good, fun, question but someone had the opposite reaction, apparently. You'll see all my rants and raves about it when you get there. :) Thanks for your help with this.
  • Maybe they just aren't up to speed on other languages and thought you were just smashing the keyboard....
  • TRY ASKING WHOSE IN CHARGE--AND SHOUT WHILE YER AT IT...
  • It's because this is an English site and it's considered against the rules to post in another language.
  • Probably because this is an English-speaking site, and it is somewhat rude to post in another language. Most here cannot understand it. That is why it is rude. I did not DR, but I can see why. I would, were I the type, do the same thing to chatspeak or L33t
