    Attention Mr. John Pennington

    Dear sir,

Agreed that the Flush works on the principle of Gravity, but, what is not clear is that Why does some water still remain in the flush always? Why gravity does not affect It?

Could you please satisfy my query?

Bathroom toilets work by gravity. a cold water supply is attached to the tank and fills till full. when its time to flush, pushing the handle opens the tank stopper. gravity pushes the cold water into the toilet bowl, causing a circular motion. the contents of the toilet are swept away, again by gravity.

Then, the process repeats itself. neat, huh?
