I've always found swilling Whiskey around the painful area works well for a few hours (swallowing it isn't necessary but also an option!)

If you leave it, it may well cause such a severe infection that may prove fatal, so obviously the dentist is your best bet apart from very painfully tying a rope to your tooth and a 10 ton truck and letting it drive off :o)

How about dental surgeon? Does that work better for you?

Or you could go to a herbalist, if you like to gamble with your health.

Sorry, but the answer you don't want to hear is the only correct answer. Happened to me a couple times, it's better to get it taken care of now before you wind up on antibiotics before anything can be done by the dentist.

If an aching tooth has been filled recently,
you will probably be about to go back to your dentist.
But try this first:
Brush the aching tooth with toothpaste,
and repeat the process day and night if necessary.
This worked for me a few months ago,
even though the toothache was severe,
and lasted for about 12 hours.
Each time I brushed the tooth, it quietened down a bit.
Eventually it stopped aching completely.

Until you can get to the dentist, you can use Clove oil. You can get it at any health food store, it works very well. It does burn a bit at 1st, but takes the pain away. Also you can get Grapefruit seed extract also at a health store, it is a mild natural antibiotic. Mix a few drops in warm water ans swish it around in your mouth then spit out. But it is important you find a dentist as soon as possible to have your tooth checked, it could be infected.
