  • I don't know for sure but my guess would be no.
  • That is a tough question. But then again you have ask does anyone enjoy doing something they know is not worthy of thier calling. The most part I think No. They rather be doing something else for money. But many have grown accustom to the life sytle that it is a service and they enjoy pleasing others. So they enjoy the benefits.
  • Instead of guessing, or imposing our imagination onto others, why not ask them? I've asked over twenty prostitutes about their life. Many of them are sexual healers, helping people explore who and how they are. These very much do it out of genuine caring, because it is worthy of their calling. Millions of men just need to be held by someone warm and nice, or to have someone human there. Some prostitutes are addicts, cons, and drunks, just making a living. Some are intellectual and engaging. Some cultivate a number of romantic clients, who bring flowers, share nice dinners together, and develop relationships over months and years. Surrogate relationships. Emotional support. Sharing massage back and forth, without worrying about nudity. Helping people get through a fear, desire, blocked awareness, or to grow. Spiritual or tantric development. Or professional, high-quality dates. There are as many kinds of situations, as there are kinds of people! Sex and body workers are less predictable than any stereotype you can come up with. One prostitute told me the worst part of the job, the really terrible horrible thing, is when she is taken away in a police car, booked, arrested, and society jeers at her. The judgmentalism that she has to face by the general public, the public shaming of her, is far worse than the comfort and solace she provides her clients. That shaming and name calling that you, I, and everyone else does ... is worse than the actual act of being a prostitute. For her. That's what really shatters and hurts her. Every individual is different. There are all kinds, far beyond what you can possibly imagine. The only way you can glimpse even 10% of the reality, is to go out there and ask them. At least treat them like a human being and ask them.
  • I remember watching a show that interviewed prostitutes and many said they like their job because they love sex.
  • well im a prostitute and i love it , its exciting and fun .
  • I briefly dated a woman who was an ex-prostitute. Her story was pretty sad and left her pretty messed up. She was glad to get out of the business.
  • I do think some choose the route because it pays well (sometimes). They might feel badly about themselves already through, possibly drug addiction, sexually abused as children, run-always that get in with the wrong people, or are kidnapped and beaten and drugged into submission and sold into slavery and passed around like used shoes. The larger majority of people in this business it was not their calling or their dream to be constantly at someone's whim. If a prostitute says she loves it she is either "selling you", if I felt I had to choose this life style I would not say my life is horrible and I can't take another minute, we all have to justify what we do, or we commit suicide.
  • When I was a single man, I had a flatmate who was a prostitute. She enjoyed her work very much and the financial freedom it gave her. She had set herself a goal, to quit when she had x amount of dollars in the bank. She told stories, however, of other girls that worked for her agency who hated it. They did it because they were hooked on drugs or had an abusive boyfriend who would bash them up if they didn't bring home the dough. So I guess the answer is: It depends on your motives for doing it.
  • Some of them do. Most of them dont. I think it has a toll on the soul after a period of time. Even if they like it from the beginning, they usually end up disliking it later. And Im sure alot of people defend themselves saying they like it...to everyone, even though truely deep down inside...they loath it. Then there is the drug addicts...they do it for the money and the next high. They gotta hate everything about it. People almost die. Its not fun, pretty, or glamorous.
  • I knew one who liked it
  • i think prostitution is like a lot of other jobs, some people love their job, some hate their job and some are indifferent and just trying to get by. people like and do strange things. I've seen a guy cut off his finger on a bet, I've seen a woman inject saline solution into her own breasts, inflating them like water ballonsa and I've seen women voluntarily get hogtied and tortured, and they are smiling and happy at the end when the ropes, clamps and electrodes come off. some women become prostitutes for money, some for the sex and some for many other reasons.
