My tortoise has orange spots on his face can you tell me what this is

    Well, i'd need to see a picture, but 3 toed box turtles have orange spots on thier heads, and are very beautiful during mating season. and im guessing that since you dont know what it is, then you probly didnt buy it. so i assume that it is actually not a tortise, but some species of box turtle. however, if it was bought, or just not native, you should ask the retailor or do some reasearch.
