My cat was near a dog and then the dog barks very loud in my cat's ear, will my cat's ears get damage by dog's bark? Can dog's bark achieve the decibel range that can damage hearing?

Either way it wouldn't be very nice for the cat to have that happen. If you want to stop the dog from doing this in the first place I would suggest that when you see the dog looking like it might do this, call it's name and say "come" or whatever you usually say to get the dog to come to you and reward it with a great distraction such as a pigs ear treat or a delicious chew. It has to be especially yummy as it has left the cat alone which would be very hard for it to do as it is very rewarding. I would even suggest that when the dog comes to you, you lure the dog using the chew treat to it's bed to encourage the dog to settle there and enjoy its reward. Does the cat react to the dog barking? If so, how?
