  • I Would NOT Do it if i were you..What grade are u in?
  • Everyone hates school too but i think you shoudl stay or else you'll regret it later :/
  • Yes, High school, college, and jobs are all far beneath you. You should learn to whittle, that'll get you by in life.
  • It's not a good idea to quit high school because in a couple of years you'll be really regretting it. What is it that makes you hate it? Is it the people, or the work, or something else? Have you tried talking with an adult about it, who will listen?
  • Not worth dropping out unless you want to work at McDonalds til you're 65 like my Aunt (who dropped out an yes she does work there). Besides, its a free education...just ride it out and get the paper and get on with life. A GED costs you money, the HS Diploma is free if you're going to a public school. Almost every job you apply for requires either a Diploma or GED, otherwise you're less likely to be hired than the next candidate who DOES have the diploma. A few years of sucky school is worth it when you get a good job.
  • A lot of people hate school, especially in the age-group you are in. If you're not involved in any after-school activity (one of the clubs, choirs, band/orchestra, etc.) or work, then it makes it even worse. Also, talk to your counselor about elective classes - what do you like to do? Work on cars (auto-shop)? woodworking? art? etc.?) Do the best you can. (No skipping, no NOT doing homework.) TRUST me (I'm old enough to be your grandpa - OH GOD!) when you get older 1) you'll want a job that you will need that diploma or a GED for (GED is for people who don't finish HS, but can test through everything). 2) You might get into a job without schooling, but to move up in the company, they may REQUIRE more than HS or GED. 3) When you get older, you will realize that learning isn't REALLY that tough, and may feel too old to "go back" to get your dimploma/degree. Stick it out. In the long-run, you'll be happier.
  • man i hate school to and i wanna dropout. i know what your going through. i think its a waste of time and if these teachers keep talking shit then they're gonna get there ass kicked
  • Stick it through. Believe me. My Dad dropped out when he was in Grade 9 and he regrets it every day of his life. He ha to work at some crummy low paying jobs where everyone lies, backstabs, and acts miserable towards each other. Stick with it and go to college. It's either being forced to go to a place you hate and be miserable for four years or skip it and end up being forced to go to a place you hate and be miserable for the rest of your life.
  • MY DAD DROPPED OUT OF SCHOOL WHEN HE WAS IN THE 9TH GRADE AND HE OWNS A HUGE 4 BEDROOM HOUSE, A DOG, A SWIMMING POOL, AND A GARAGE THAT HE BUILT. SO HE'S LIVING PRETTY DAMN GOOD, ALL BY HIMSELF.
  • Anti-Flag, it's "badly", not "bad". Perhaps staying in school would be more effective for you if a) you actually allowed yourself to be taught something, b) you were actually learning something, and c) you displayed what you were learning through your outward actions, writing being one of them.
