Help answer this question below.

My male 4 year old keeps trying to mate with my 1 1/2 female st brenard but she will not let him i think shes in heat only sign is swollen privite..and nipples are hard how do i get her to stand for him ?will she ever?

    If she is still bleeding then she is not ready yet.
    blood will get lighter in colour towards 11th day and should be clear fluid by then, a bitch will nomally accept a male from the 11th day onwards.
    Once she is pregnant, her vulva (private parts:-) ) will stay swollen up, so maybe he has already been there!
    Gestation is 60 days from mating, but can go over.
