I would think so, as long as Gasol gets a hold of his ego, if that is even a problem. What the lakers need is either a A list star like Kobe, with him being backed by a bunch of B list ones, with Gasol being a possible B+ star.
If the L.A. Lakers win, should the city of L.A., throw a 1.1 million dollar parade for them right now? The city is broke.
