  • Generally, you pay for your necessities such as housing by getting a job that generates a steady pay check. Even though you allegedly won your appeal, we don't know the grounds upon which you were successful. Perhaps your conviction was reversed but remanded for a new trial? If you must be retried, your release from custody pending a new trial may be subject to reasonable conditions. Unless the appellate matter was conclusively decided in your favor, e.g., a reversal based on insufficient evidence wherein the government does not have the right to retry you, it is much too early to explore any rights you may have with respect to expunging your record.
