Question

Help answer this question below.

Does anyone here agree with me that artists like "Hannah Montana" and "The Jonas Brothers", with their so called style of rock, are defiling the hard work that true rockers such as AC/DC, Aerosmith, and Guns N Roses worked their whole carreer for?

It's music marketed to the young kids. I think Hannah Montana is a good role model for little girls. Her music is lightweight, bubblegum pop but that is who watches the Disney channel. Well, the little girls and their 37 year old Dads.

Apples and Oranges. The distinction needs to be made between the music I listened to when I was growing up, and what the kids today listen to. Just as my parents weren't keen on AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Rush, etc. I'm not keen on some of today's music. Let's just see if Hannah Montana and The Jonas Brothers stand the test of time the way the others do.

No. AC/DC, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses. All great hard rock bands. Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers. Mediocre pop bands. No connection here see.

Allow me to state something up here as i dida bad job of asking the question You see where i live people consider that on the rock scene, and i have heard disney try to market it off as rock too. It is totally different sounds, i agree totally, but the fact that they are trying to market it off as rock is what bothers me so badly, and thats why i lumped them more than i probably should have.
