Apparently you'll get far higher amounts of aluminum from antacids or deodorants but it's not recommended that you cook or store highly acidic foods like tomatoes in uncoated aluminum pots or pans.
I cook with Aluminum all the time!! But if you ever want to know what is fact or a myth, the best place that I have found is www.snopes.com and just type what you are lloking for (the whole question if you like) in their search bar!!
