Do you use self-dialog? I don't mean merely talking to yourself, but actually looking at yourself in a mirror and saying, "You can make it!" in an effort to compel yourself to move towards a goal or be strong in the face of some dilemma?

Yes, I actually was a part of this Conference that required us to look in the mirror every day with this saying we came up with suring the conference...to get us to move forward, and put the past in the past... it worked...but i dont do it anymore.

No, but I do have a strong interior monologue going sometimes.

No, I can't keep a straight face. I end up laughing and saying something like "Oh yeah...go Oprah, you go girl!" if I even try. Of course, I find laughter to be very empowering so in it's own way, I suppose, it does work.
