My dairy cows are brown. Do you mean Holstein cows?
-
Ayrshire cows are brown and white
-
I would see it as white with black spots based on the cows that I have seen.

1) "Some common dairy cattle have markings that make them easy to recognize. Holstein cattle are probably the easiest to recognize because they are white with black spots. But dairy cattle, like beef cattle, come in many different colors." Source: http://oklahoma4h.okstate.edu/aitc/lessons/extras/facts/dairy.html 2) here there is a list of cattle breeds, classified according to their utilisation. Some are dairy breeds, but there are also multipurpose breeds, which are used either as dairy (produce milk), beef-producing (produce meat) or draught (beasts of burden): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_breeds_of_cattle

Depends what kind of cow it is. Could be a Holstein or an Ayreshire. One is black with white mostly and the other is white with black.
-
Not necessarily. Some are brown.
-
I don't know so don't count on me to give you the answer but what im guessing is that it could be either one because there are holstein cows which are black with more less white than black. But there is also areyshire cows which are mostly white with less black so I don't know if anybody could really answer that question completly correct because it is either one as you can see from my explanation.

Genetically the cow is black but it has another set of genes which cause the white spotting to happen over the top of the base color. This would be true of any color of cow or horse for that matter, that has white markings of some kind. I could go into more scientific detail on the subject but it would be too long and boring. So that means it is a Black cow with white spots.

Jersey cows, which provide great creamy milk, are a lovely beige colour.
-
It really depends on what kind of cow it is because if you have holstein they are always well, not always but most likely black with white spots but other cows are different.
-
They are purple completely covered with black and white spots.
