I don't think most men really care that much. Compliment him on whatever he gets you, and make him feel like he did a good job picking out your gift. Then, cook him his favorite dinner and dress up really sexy for him. Maybe get him some candy or something simple. And of course, end the night with a nice "dessert".

Personally, I don't think it can be generalized so easily. As for me, I personally like to receive sentimental gifts from my girl, perhaps mainly because Im that kind of person. I guess the answer really depends if you're generally the giver or the taker in the relationship. Cheers.

I think a man would appreciate something that is done special for him rather than a material thing. For instance, I would make my sweetie a special dinner (ie. candlelit), with a special dessert, then plan a special evening for the two of us.

I have been heard that all men really want is one thing: sex. I think they also like food a lot and some of them like the newest TV's and gadget. They seem pretty simple to please really. I also think they like to be told that they are appreciated once in awhile.

In my opinion, I think a man is flattered when he receives a gift from a woman. Especially if he loves her. I can tell you what i will probably buy my man for valentine's day. A pair of cute boxers that say something cute like "im too sexy for......" and maybe some candy. But lets not forget not to go all out on the men BECAUSE the woman should be showered on this day. After all, we give sex and make dinner and play dress up every day of the week RIGHT?

Nothing says "I Love You" like something your man can do alone! I try to get my husband things that he enjoys and I don't care too much for, I know how much it means to him when I give him permission to get away for awhile. I got together with a few wives and we all bought our husbands a ticket to a fishing trip off the coast of Mexico. Even tickets to a sporting event or a concert if he prefers music over sports. If you want something more personal or sentimental, I've done things like a personalized flask or cigar case. I got him a digital photo frame from http://www.ceiva.com/?utm_source=bc and loaded some sweet and saucy pictures! I ordered a personalized Dartboard case with his name on it! Just figure out something he really loves, and gets some relaxation from and enhance it! I know my husband hates doing things for himself so if I do it for him he really appreciates that!

Well I am on a budget so instead of buying a big present, i am just going to buy him a few small gifts (just things he likes, eg. magazine, CD, model car) and make a treasure hunt for him to find the gifts along the way. He's working on the day so I will send his first clue in the mail...that way he will be really excited by the time he knocks off work! (plus sex is a given, but it's not a gift because both partners get enjoyment!) Hows that?!!!

I did this last year and my man loved it.. I gave him an a gift certificate to a spa... It was my spa at home.. Gift certificate were for a massage,a blow job and any sex position of his desire. I dressed up and stayed in character.. It was great he still brags about it till this day..
