Have you read the Chronicles of Narnia lately? You can probably blaze through one of those books in a day or two.

I'm reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, I quite like it. It's sort of modern day London with a horror-fantasy twist. :)

"Wicked" by Gregory MacGuire was a hoot. It's the "real story" of the Wicked Witch of the West. Not sure your age, but it's an adult book, not for kids. :-) But I loved it, so many funny twists that you can bring from The Wizard of Oz and go "oooooooooh, that's what that was..." and so on.

Right now I'm reading Atonement. It's very good and I highly suggest you read it. It's about 351 pages.

If you're into it, a fun read, which I think 99% of all Americans already read like 10 years ago, was the Barry Williams biography "Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg." Man, that dude has got to get over his Bradymentalissis.

I have been reading some odd ones... A Practical Guide to Racism (It has a chapter on Mermaids, so that's how serious it is.) When will Jesus Bring the Porkchops? (Again, written by George Carlin) Dress your Family in Corduroy and Denim~ David Sedaris (satirical look on families and their misadventures.) Possible Side Effects- Augesten Burroughs (Author of "Running with Scissors")

read the secret life of ceecee wilkes!

Have you read the book "Love Story" by Erich Segal? It's short (only about 100 pages), and one of my all-time favorites. It's a romantic, funny, and tragic story.

I enjoy "The Cat Who..." mysteries for a light quick read, or the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich.
