No, but I don't think men should either. I avoid the cliche's of holiday gift giving and keep a "just because" calendar. I buy gifts on odd days. Shhhhhhhh! This is a secret. I have pop up reminders to do this, so it isn't really all that spontaneous (Give me a break, I'm getting old, I can't remember such things).... It looks spontaneous when Mrs. duck gets flowers on March 5th, though. .... March 5th... Wasn't that the anniversary of the Boston Massacre? Perhaps I should pick a different day.

No I don't think women should be obligated to buy men flowers and chocolate. I don't mind doing it for my s/o when I have one but there is never an expectation of getting anything back. I'm happy if I get a card.

i dont think they should i believe that a women should recieve gifts as a sign of how much the guy likes her but my gf says they should buy guys gifts. they never seem to listen when you tell them not to buy you something
