Help answer this question below.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Best question ever.
WELL. I most certainly do know what LI means. It means, 'laughing inside' and it's going to take the place of LOL because it's actually true.
Also, because we said so ;)
When I put LOL I mean it. However I laugh a lot and it feels good!
how about adding ELOL for "Evil Laugh Out Loud"
Muuuuuwwwaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!
Honestly the only one I know is LOL. When people write the others I just assume they mean something good.
I doubt LI will replace LOL mostly because when i type LOL it means I laughed out loud at something.... I actually do... LI means to me... meh that wasn't funny enough to chuckle at.. try harder.. your jokes SUCK.
I like to say ggl. For giggles.
What about "Laughing Insanely" rather than having to spell out a wicked laugh like... WWHHOAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!
I prefer LQTM (laughing quietly to myself) instead of LI. A two letter acronym is just too short.
I'll have a stab and say "Laughing Incontrollably"?
It might take over LOL because it's of a more intense nature. Or just that it's 33% shorter.
hah! indeed i know what LI means - and tbh its becuase people dont mean anything by lol - they dont even laugh - i would also like to point out that brb is used solely to put a temporary stop on a conversation because u've run outof things to say! Li
LMHO (Laughing My Head Off) or SMSL (Splitting My Sides Laughing).
ppl use 'lls' .. laughing like shit
i dont kno . . . lol. the only ones i really kno r lol n lmao n lmfao n omg n brb n thats about it. yeah im that cool. emphasis on how cool i am. :D
That would be confusing. What if there is an Asian person named Li (lee) in the conversation; "Li is Li"?
Nah...nothing can take the place of a good, hearty STFU...
Li is laughing inside.
Ll is a lazier way of saying 'lol', instead of taking time to reach over and type an 'o', they just say 'll' or 'lllllll'
Doesn't LI mean Laughing Inside?
No it's not going to take place of LOL. LOL is part of internet slang culture, I doubt it can be changed, nor enforced to change.
Excuse me, but you're giving me credit for much too much knowledge. I really don't know what any of those abbreviations mean except for LOL! Would anyone be willing to translate all of them for me so I won't have to feel so stupid right now? Thanks.
Add PMP (a new one I learned) Like when you say LMAOPMP. (peeing my pants)
LI to me means Long Island. Does this mean that I may have been confusing a lot of people for quite some time?
i use loti (laughing on the inside) also it mi annoyin nik name but spelt wid one t so i use it XD
Laughing internally?
Actually, I prefer STROTTRAL:
"spending the rest of the time rolling around laughing"

You're reading We all know what 'LOL, LMAO, OMG, BRB, ROTFL' mean but do you know what LI means and why it is going to take the place of LOL from now on?
