The value of π (pi) is now known to over a trillion digits accuracy. Even the most exacting engineering projects rarely require more than the first six or so digits. With the first twenty digits you could inscribe a circle the size of the observable universe, with precision to the diameter of a proton. Similar things apply to phi and Phi (golden section) and e (base of natural logarithm). The human quest for knowledge goes to great lengths sometimes.

My mom worked in a psych ward and is a nurse, yet she can't seem to figure out that her husband is abusive & her own daughter is depressed. How blind can you be to depression & stuff like that when you work with people like that?!

So I married this guy that I really didnt want to marry but I was settling, only to find out a week after our wedding that he has been cheating on me with my sister. Ever ironic!! At least now I can get an anulment. :P

A relative of my husband's barks and blasts about how much he hates republicans and conservatives, but when you hear him talk about his ideals they sound like conservative views. :S I find so-called "Christians" that kill abortionists because they are murderers is a very good example of irony too, especially when it clearly says in the Bible "thou shalt not kill" or "Vengeance is mine says the Lord" Throughout most of my life I've been surrounded by conservative influences- they make it seem like Christians are very polite and kind while atheists are bitter and rude. However, an atheist in-law and friend of mine say "please", "thank you", and has more courtesy than some of my relatives that claim to be Christian. :S
