Help answer this question below.

My gf said she is spending the night at a friends house for her bday and she said there gonna sit there all night and just drink but then another girl just invited me to a party that her and my gf"s friend are throwing is my gf lying? and if so why?

maybe your girl friend doesnt know about the party being thrown? like it is a surprize?
i cant tell you if she is lying because i dont know, but i think that she would have invited you if she knew if her friend had decided to invite you.

Who knows why a person lies. Perhaps she didn't want to embarrass you, if you weren't invited to the party.

If you want to pursue this, tell her that "you heard that she was going to the party." Then be quiet and listen while she either explains, or tries to lie her way out of it.
Then you will know if she was lying in the first place.

It sounds like this is a surprise party and she thinks that she is going to spend the night at a friend's house for her birthday and that will be it. That way, her friend will be able to keep her busy while her other friends organize the party. Ask her friends if it's a surprise party and make sure they know about her plans in case there are any conflicts in the time that is scheduled. Why do you think it's HER FRIENDS that are inviting you and NOT HER? If it wasn't a surprise party, wouldn't it be her that would invite you? I don't think your girlfriend is lying. Think about it and remember . . . talk to her friends.

Sometimes I don't feel like I have as much fun when myu boyfriend's out, just because I want to spend time with him, but I want to dance and talk with my (girl)friends.. Maybe this is the case, and she didn't think you'd understand, or didn't want to hurt your feelings. Assure her that she can tell you anything, and you'll try to understand. I also think the answers from wide awake Phoenix and nomilou are valid. Good luck!
