I'm planning to make some changes in my life, job, location, etc. Would you rather move first and then find a new job, or get a new job first and then move? Both choices involve a temporary 1+ hour commute.

I would rather move first and then find a job, but financially that is not always possible so I say find a job first and then move.

the way I did it is find a job then move,this way the new job can help finance your move.

I'm in the same situation. I'm flexible about where to move but just can't do so without first securing work. Which, long distance, is tricky. But I definitely say job first, move second.
