Question

Help answer this question below.

My car will not crank. Battery is fully charged and alt was checked. Key switch will turn on everything electrical. Tried to bump/straight wire starter. Engine turns over but will not stay on. Could it be ignition switch? Car has a pass code key.

Sounds like it could be the alternator. Call your local Auto Zone store and inquire with the cars symptoms. They give free advice and even let you use their tools for free.
